About Workshops
The division of User Services, User Training and Support provides workshops and seminars as well as customized training to suit the computer user's needs at Mississippi State University. These services are available at no charge to students, faculty, and staff.
General workshops are taught every month during the calendar year except December. Custom workshops may be requested for a university department or group throughout the full year.
You may view the list of offered course titles and their descriptions or request customized training. Most of the User Training and Support Workshops are taught in computer labs located in McArthur Hall. McArthur Hall is located between Scott Field and Humphrey Coliseum and is across from Giles Architecture Building. The classrooms are equipped with multimedia-enabled training units. The primary classroom will accommodate 20; the secondary classroom will accommodate 15. Both rooms are equipped with Windows workstations with one workstation in each room that meets ADA specifications. The classrooms also have printers, electronic white boards, and projection units for the teaching stations.
