The name of the University’s web portal is changing from onCampus to myState to more appropriately convey its role as the personal, customizable gateway to web-based systems and services for students, faculty, and staff. From a functional perspective, myState will provide the same features and capabilities as onCampus.
There are two ways to login to myState. On the main MSU webpage (msstate.edu), click the myState link in the upper right portion of the browser window or enter my.msstate.edu as the URL in your browser. Both of these methods will take you to the login window where you login with your NetID and NetPassword.
For students that currently have a tab named "myMSU" the name of this tab will change to "Main". For Faculty and Staff no tab names will change.
The email or BullyMail icon will be in the same place in myState as it was in onCampus. Look for the email icon in the upper right portion of the Main tab, or go to the Email button in the Email channel.
All the customization you have done within onCampus will remain the same in the myState interface.
You access myBanner in myState the same way you did in onCampus. After you login to myState, select the Banner tab.
You access myCourses in myState the same way you did in onCampus. After you login to myState, the courses you are taking or the courses you are teaching will appear in the myCourses Notifications column.
