License

The Mathematica Student Agreement permits students to install a copy on their personal machine.  Mathematica is also available for use in student computer labs. 

Legal Requirements:

  • Only active students at Mississippi State University are permitted to download this software.
  • Mathematica can be used for home use.
  • The site license provides use of Mathematica in education or academic research only.


To obtain Mathematica for Students software you must authenticate using your NetID and NetPassword. If you do not know your NetID please see Determining your MSU NetID .

         For User Name enter your NetID
         For Password enter your NetPassword
