File Restoration

The Request for File Restoration form is for the purpose of "file" recovery. Files are restored to the account from which they were deleted. Currently, file restoration is available for only those servers that are supported by ITS. This includes Novell superservers, some Windows NT servers and most Unix (Ra, Archive, etc.) servers. For office and personal computer file recovery, we can aid with a high degree of confidence only if timely backups were made previously.

The File Restoration request form is available for printing or the Help Desk can fax a copy of the form to you. The Help Desk is located at 108 Allen Hall and the fax number is 662-325-1832. This form should be completed and returned to the Help Desk either in person or by fax.
