Please review these university policies applicable to the development of myCourses courses:
Procedures
There are three types of myCourses courses, Academic, External and Development. All Academic courses are automatically created when a course is marked to use myCourses within myBanner (link to myBanner). Only External and Development myCourses need to be requested with this form.
External myCourses
The purpose of the External myCourses instance is to host all courses that are not in the Academic instance. For example, professional development and seminar courses will be hosted on this instance. An External myCourses course must be requested in order to be created. These courses need to be authorized by a Dean or Director.
Development myCourses
The purpose of the Development myCourses instance is to host courses that are in development for use on the Academic instance. Development myCourses courses must be requested in order to be created.
- Create
a new couse
- Contact the Help Desk to request deletion of an existing course
Documentation
Documentation is available through the Center for Teaching and Learning
Training
myCourses workshops are offered to faculty and staff by The Center for Teaching and Learning .
