User Training & Support Computer Labs

The ITS User Training & Support classrooms are equipped with multimedia-enabled training units and 18-inch LCD flat screens to provide improved visibility for users. The primary classroom will accommodate 25; the secondary classroom will accomodate 15. Both rooms have one workstation each that meet ADA specifications. Each workstation is equipped with new Dell PCs computers with Pentium 4 1.80 GHz processors, 512 MB of RAM, a Zip drive, 16-bit audio, video capture, and 18 inch LCD flat screens. The classrooms also have scanners, printers, electronic white boards and projection units for the teaching stations.

McArthur Hall is located between Scott Field and the Humphrey Coliseum and across from the Giles Architecture Building. Each month User Services will be offering a different selection of classes.

User Services personnel will teach the workshops. Additionally, User Services will accept request from departments and campus offices for special training sessions.
