Linking An Excel Chart (384 KB)
Integration among Microsoft Offfice is referred to as Object Linking and Embedding (OLE). OLE allows data to dynamically change among applications. For example, a chart from Excel can be linked in a Word document. A linked chart appears in the Word document, but the information is stored in the original Excel file. Therefore, whenever the data is edited in Excel, Word can automatically update the chart in the document. This document will describe the process of linking an Excel chart into a Word document.

Adding Images to the Clip Art Gallery in Word 2000 (221 KB)
